If we saw a reflection of earth in a star faraway enough would the world be in past, present or future?

If we now could zoom into a star that is far away enough for its activities to be in the past and then saw a reflection of the earth (just saying...) would the earth on the reflection be past, present or future???

I'll accept we can get a reflection as a base for the question. The light would have left the earth traveled to the star and back. While you wait for a return, the clock is ticking to meet a future point in time....The image would always be of the past but PRESENTED to you in YOUR future if timed from the first transmission of light from earth.
